On
February 19, 1998 Swiss Master Chef Andreas Müller made his culinary
dream come true. He and and his wife Bunying then opened their first own
Steakhouse and Swiss Restaurant "CHEZ ANDY" in midst of the main tourist
area of Chaweng Beach on Koh Samui. They started out with 40 seats on
the upper floor above the offices of a Samui travel agency.
One year later family Müller took the opportunity to extend to the
lower floor and established the Taverne Bar as a casual, friendly meeting
point for visitors and locals alike. With draft beer, including imported
Erdinger wheat beer, inspired cocktails, aperitifs and a sophisticated
wine list, the Taverne draws a lively crowd, usually in high spirits.
Another
year passed and the New Millennium saw the opening of an 80 seat Beer
and Grill Garden at "Chez Andy". The garden is located directly behind
the restaurant and is shielded by the main building from road noise and
dust. A quiet oasis in midst of Samui's most bustling
entertainment area grants exceptional ambiance to guests who enjoy in an
excellent meal and atmosphere. To the delight of all BBQ fans, and in
addition to the a-la-carte menu, Chez Andy's Beer and Grill Garden
offers daily “all you can eat”
